The American company Thor is planning to erect the five-star Alpen Rose Ski&Spa Hotel and entertainment park in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region, next to the Sorotchany ski resort and Ilyinskoe village. The square of the lot for the building-up totals 7 hectares. The hotel itself will occupy 17,000 sq m housing over 100 rooms and suites of different categories. The infrastructure of the complex will also comprise several villas providing VIP service.
The hotel will be designed as an alpine palace adjoined by a entertainment park. The complex will also encompass the Tirol shopping and entertainment centre of 12 sq m (lot’s square – 1,5 hectares) decorated in the Fachtwerk style typical of tourist and entertainment objects in Austria and Switzerland.
The final developmental work is expected to have been finished by spring 2009, whilst the construction of the hotel and adjoining centre will be started in the 3d quarter of 2009. The investment into the hotel project will amount to $50 mln.
