From the 1st of June 2009 the amount of financial guarantee has arisen to 10 000 000 rubles. Insurance company is OSAO “Ingosstrakh". Obligations on this Contract guarantees compensation of losses to the consumer in insurance cases.
On October 23 the Moscow International Poetry Biennale was opened in the Meyerhold center. Poets from seven countries take part in the festival. It was organized with the purpose to acquaint Russian readers with the poetry of foreign authors. It can be named the festival of festivals. And it is a large scale event. Authors from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Georgia, Latvia and of course Russia participate in the Poetry Biennale. The list of participants is impressive. Poetry is performed on different grounds of the city, in clubs, libraries and museums. Guests of the biennale will be able to visit the presentation of anthology of contemporary American poetry, the festival of vocal poetry, the festival of poetic videos, the musical performance “Bestiary”. The Moscow International Poetry Biennale includes traditional poetic performance of the near abroad countries authors. More than 40 poetic evenings, discussions, presentations and other events with more than 100 participants will take place. All events are open and free for spectators and listeners. The guests of the Novotel Moscow Center Hotel can quickly get to the Meyerhold center.
